2008-09 Member Schedule

Rehearsals

All regular rehearsals will be held at the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul on Coming Street (map):

  • Chamber Singers rehearsals: Tuesdays, 5:30 to 7:20 PM.  Rehearsals will start in October.
  • Full Chorus rehearsals: Tuesdays, 7:00 to 9:30 PM.  Once Chamber rehearsals start, rehearsals will be 7:30pm to 9:30 PM.

Parking for rehearsals is available in unreserved spaces in the parking lot across Coming Street from the Cathedral. We have permission to park in the CPW lot behind the Church also.

Select sectional rehearsals may also be conducted at the College of Charleston’s Simons Center, located at 54 St. Philips St., between Calhoun and George Street. The Recital Hall is near the George St. end of the building.

Dress Rehearsals

Dress rehearsals for all concerts will typically be held the two evenings prior to the concert (e.g. Thursday and Friday evenings for a Saturday concert), at the given concert’s venue, unless otherwise notified.

Performance Schedule

  • Full Chorus: Masterworks 1, Alexander Nevsky & 1812, 9/27, 7 PM; dress rehearsals will be 9/25 & 9/26 from 6:30-9:30

  • Chamber: Messiah, 2 performances: 12/11: Citadel @ 8:00; 12/14: St. Theresa Church (Summerville) @ 3:00; dress rehearsal will be Tuesday 12/9 @ 7:00.

  • Full Chorus: Holiday Pops, 12/20, 8 PM; rehearsals will be 12/18 & 12/19 from 6:30-9:30

  • Full Chorus & Chamber:  repetoire TBA, 2/22 @ 7:30 PM location TBA; rehearsals 2/17 @ 7:00 & 2/22 @ 1:00

  • Piccolo Spoleto and Spoleto plans are TBD.
